Well here are some works by a few different artists, the 1st one looks like junk but really its just a famous Japanese warship (which the name escapes me as of now) but it looks old and scrap like (it is from WWII so it is pretty old).
This is form MEGA ZONE 23, its an anime set in a 1960s retro futuristic world, in certain areas its in similar style to the junk world which you have envisioned mr Coah

Right now im working on the storyboard's for you man, il have them done sometime in the coming week, hopefully Monday or Tuesday, i forget what date the formative is though.
